Draws for the 2017 Victorian Equestrian Interschool Championships are available to download.
The nature of jumping competitions makes it difficult to be accurate with your riding time, however we expect riders to ride in draw order wherever possible. We have many riders with multiple rides and competing in many disciplines if you have multiple rides and times start to clash you will need to notify the marshal at the ring. Simply riding out of order as you do not like your draw order is not an option. Classes will not be held open waiting for riders, we have very tight schedules.
The Handy Mount and Games times have some flexibility in the year groups if you have clashes. You will just need to ensure you get to the ring before the Primary or Secondary sections finish, however please try and ride close to your time in order that we can finalise classes throughout the day.
The first page of the draw contains additional information.
The dressage times are NOT flexible; you need to ride at your designated time.
If you think you will have a time clash that will not be manageable on the day you will need to contact us.
Scratching’s need to be notified by email.
When you look at the draws please check:
- You have the same number with the same horse, each horse/rider has a separate number
- If jumping you are in the same division in all classes and have a time in each of the 3 classes
- Your school is correct
Volunteers Instructions
Please find attached the list of volunteer roles for the EV Interschool State Championships 2017. To make it easier we are inviting you to nominate your preferences to fit with your riders times. Jobs will be allocated on a FIRST IN BEST DRESSED scenario.

- One of the conditions of entry is that every rider must supply a volunteer. Running this event takes enormous manpower and relies heavily on volunteers, if you are unsure what the job involves please ask. Please communicate all volunteer queries or requests to Amy Rush, our Volunteer Coordinator at evisvolunteers@gmail.com.
- We also have available a number of paid volunteer jobs available, if you know someone that would like to assist and is available for a minimum of a half day, please have them contact Amy Rush via email.\
